As a city from the Black Sea region of Turkey, Bolu has been famous for its cuisine since the Ottoman Empire. Sultans would specifically choose their cooks from this province. It is a land of green hills, with a Ski resort that attracts tourists. Bolu is also close to one of the National Parks of the country, Yedigöller (Seven Lakes), with lakes surrounded by trees keeping the province beautiful all year around.
